1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using repair.ulrigg.com (the "Website") or engaging Ulrigg Ribbons ("we", "us", or "our") for repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Ulrigg Ribbons provides professional ribbon microphone repair and restoration services, including but not limited to:
- Ribbon replacement and reribboning
- Microphone restoration and repair
- Diagnostic services
- Technical consultation
All services are provided on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to decline service for any reason.
3. Repair Process and Estimates
Important: All repair quotes are estimates. Final pricing may vary based on actual work required and condition of the microphone upon inspection.
- Initial quotes are estimates and subject to change after inspection
- We will provide a final quote before beginning repair work
- You must approve the final quote before we proceed with repairs
- Turnaround time is typically about one week, but may vary based on workload and parts availability
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping, parts availability, or circumstances beyond our control
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of repair, before return shipment
- We accept Credit Card, PayPal, and Venmo
- A checkout link will be provided upon completion of repairs
- All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
- If you decline the final repair quote, a diagnostic fee may apply
- Unpaid repairs may be held until payment is received
5. Shipping and Handling
Shipping Requirements: Customers must include a prepaid return shipping label with their shipment. This allows you to purchase shipping and insurance both ways.

- You are responsible for shipping costs to our facility
- You must provide a prepaid return shipping label with your shipment
- We recommend insuring your shipment for its full value
- We are not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping to our facility
- We will use your provided return label for shipment back to you
- We are not responsible for loss or damage during return shipping if you provide the shipping label
6. Warranty and Guarantee
- We guarantee our repair work for a period of 90 days from the date of return shipment
- This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used in the repair
- The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents
- Damage from shipping (see Shipping section)
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the repair
- Normal wear and tear
- Modifications made by others after our repair
- Warranty repairs will be performed at no additional charge, but customer is responsible for shipping costs
- This warranty is non-transferable
7. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided
- We are not liable for:
- Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages
- Loss of use, revenue, or profit
- Damage to other equipment or property
- Shipping damage (see Shipping section)
- In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid for the repair service
- We exercise reasonable care in handling all equipment, but cannot guarantee against all possible damage
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Accurately describe the condition and issues with your microphone
- Ship items securely packaged to prevent damage
- Include a prepaid return shipping label
- Provide accurate contact information
- Respond promptly to repair quotes and communications
- Make payment in a timely manner upon completion
- Accept responsibility for shipping risks
9. Abandoned Property
- If a repaired item is not claimed or payment is not received within 90 days of completion, the item may be considered abandoned
- We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any action
- Abandoned items may be disposed of or sold to recover costs, in accordance with applicable law
10. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Items that are beyond repair or economically unfeasible to repair
- Items that pose safety hazards
- Items that we do not have expertise to repair
- Non-payment or payment issues
- Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior
If we refuse service, we will return your item (at your expense) or work with you to find an alternative solution.
11. Intellectual Property
- All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Ulrigg Ribbons
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission
- Microphone brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners
12. Website Use
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes
- You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the website at any time
- We are not responsible for website downtime or technical issues
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with any written estimates or agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ulrigg Ribbons regarding repair services.
